"IF IT ZIPS, IT FITS"

All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

CURRENT SELECTION Life Jackets (CGA) 8-10% Stretch

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

Pro Tip: Every brand cuts their vests differently. Please review the specific size chart and fit notes above for this model.

Product Overview

Safety for the "Do It Myself" Stage.
The 2026 Ronix Vision Child vest is built for the kid who is officially too big for the infant seat but still needs maximum security in the water. Designed by Ronix for the 30–50 lbs weight range, the Vision utilizes high-visibility color panels so you can spot them instantly from the boat. This isn't a stiff, bulky "box" vest—it's built with Nature's Neoprene and Cushion Foam, making it soft enough for a child to wear all day without complaining. Whether they are jumping off the swim platform or taking their first ride on a tube, this Ronix CGA vest keeps them high, stable, and comfortable.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

My kid is exactly 30 lbs—should I buy this or the Toddler vest? +
If they are hitting 30 lbs, move into this Child size. The Toddler vest (Up to 30 lbs) is shorter and includes a head-support pillow that can be restrictive for an active child. This Ronix Child vest gives them more arm mobility for swimming and playing while still keeping the mandatory crotch strap for safety.
Why does the crotch strap matter if the vest is tight? +
Kids at this age don't have "hips" yet to hold a vest down. Without that strap, if a child jumps into the water, the vest will instantly slide up to their ears. The Ronix crotch strap is covered in soft neoprene to prevent "wedgies" while ensuring the vest stays locked to their torso.
Can my child jump off the boat/dock in this vest safely? +
Yes. This is a 100% Coast Guard Approved (CGA) jacket. Ronix uses high-impact Cushion Foam that helps absorb the slap of the water, and the secure fit ensures the vest won't shift or pop open upon impact.
How do I wash lake "stink" out of this neoprene? +
Because this vest uses Nature's Neoprene, it’s very durable. Simply rinse it with fresh water after each use and hang it in a shaded, breezy area (not direct sun). If it gets really smelly, use a mild "wetsuit shampoo"—never put it in the dryer.
