FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does the One Legacy wakeboard differ from the One Blackout wakeboard?
It’s all about the 'Energy' level. The Blackout is a 10/10 'Instant Energy' board designed to be as light and reactive as possible. The One Legacy is a 'Stored Energy' board, meaning it has a more relaxed snap that’s easier on your body and a core that absorbs more vibration in rough water.
What is the benefit of the 'Midnight Gloss' finish on the boots?
It’s a stealthy, high-shine black-on-black look that uses a Cordura Ballistic Nylon shell. Beyond just looking cool, this material is incredibly durable and abrasion-resistant, so the boots stay looking new even after a heavy season of riding.
Why is the 3-Stage Rocker so iconic on this wakeboard?
It’s designed for vertical pop. While continuous rockers glide you out, the One’s 3-stage shape creates a later arc at the wake, giving you a more explosive 'pop' straight up. It’s the shape that redefined how much hangtime a rider could get.
Are the One boots heat-moldable?
Yes. They feature the Intuition+ liner, which is the best in the industry. We recommend heat-molding them to get a custom, anatomical fit that eliminates pressure points and ensures your foot is perfectly locked in for maximum control.
Can I share this wakeboard with my friends?
Since the One is a closed-toe boot with a specific size and a heat-moldable liner, it’s really meant to be a personal setup. If someone else rides it, it will pack out the custom-molded foam and ruin that 'pro-fit' you’ve worked for. For a shareable setup, look at the One Legacy with Anthem BOA package.
Is the One Legacy good for intermediate riders??
Definitely. While it's a pro-model shape, the Legacy core and the wider 2026 profile make it much more forgiving than previous versions. It's stable, easy to plane, and won't punish you for small mistakes as much as a dedicated 'Instant Energy' pro board would.
