Why You’ll Love the Ronix Vault Modello Core Wakeboard 2026

The Vault is a straight-up beginner board designed to take the frustration out of the learning curve. You will love how the shorter molded-in heelside fins provide a quicker release and more glide, while the sharper toeside rail and longer fins create more water contact for a stronger, more secure edge hold. Combined with the 1.75” center fins, this board helps you get out of the water effortlessly and stay straight behind the boat while you learn the basics.

Ideal vs. Wrong Riders

Ronix Vault Modello Core Wakeboard 2026

The Ideal Rider

The Ideal Rider is the true beginner learning how to get up on a wakeboard for the first time, a family who just got their first boat and wants a board everyone can learn on, or someone who can get up but struggles with control and falls easily.

The Wrong Rider

Someone who can already cross both wakes (check out the Ronix District) jump the wakes (look at the Parks or Supreme Wakeboards), or perform advanced tricks (look at the One or RXT). Also, this is not a board for cable parks.

The Wakesports Crew Review

We spent many sessions on the Ronix Vault over the years and it always reminds us why this thing is a classic. The first thing you notice is how 'locked-in' it feels when you're just cruising—those 1.75” center fins do all the heavy lifting so you aren't wobbling side-to-side while you're finding your stance. When you transition to your toeside, you can actually feel that sharper rail bite into the water, which is huge because that's usually where beginners wash out. On the heelside, it's a total pivot; it feels much looser and more 'slippery' in a good way, making it easy to move around without catching an edge. It’s got a predictable, mellow pop that doesn't feel like it’s trying to buck you off. It’s just a confidence-builder..

Product Overview

The 2026 Ronix Vault Wakeboard is built to be the most forgiving and helpful tool in wakeboarding. Its unique shape acknowledges that your body is naturally imbalanced when riding, which is why the toeside and heelside edges are engineered with different fin lengths and rail shapes. This promotes better body position and makes crossing the wake feel natural rather than intimidating. Whether it's your first time or you're starting to clear the wake, the Vault provides the confidence needed to move to the next level.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the Vault wakeboard good for someone who has never wakeboarded before? +
Yes, it is the best board in the industry for learning because the fins and rail shape help you stay straight while you find your balance.
Will I grow out of this board too quickly? +
Not necessarily, while it is beginner-friendly, the 3-stage rocker has plenty of kick to help you learn your first wake and wake to wake jumps.
Can I use this board without the center fins? +
You can, but we recommend keeping them on while learning to take advantage of the extra stability they provide. Once you progress, you can remove the center fins for a loose, more playful feel.
How do I know which size to pick? +
Check the weight ranges in our size chart, picking the right length based on your weight ensures the board floats and pops exactly as intended. If you have any questions, give us a call as we are always happy to help out. 858-277-5757

You also save money when buying the wakeboard and wakeboard boots together as a package. Check out our wakeboard packages for more details.
