FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much stiffer is the District boot compared to the Divide?
On a scale of 1-10, the District sits around a 5 or 6, whereas the Divide is a 3 or 4. That extra stiffness means when you move your ankles, the board reacts faster. It’s the better choice for riders who want more precision and less 'play' in their boots.
Can I still share this wakeboard package with friends?
Yes. Because the District is an open-toe boot, it still accommodates a range of foot sizes. You get the benefit of a higher-performance, more supportive boot without losing the ability to let everyone on the boat take a set.
Does the center fin make the board harder to turn?
Not at all. The center fin actually helps the board track straight and stay predictable, which is exactly what you want when learning how to get up. As you progress and want to try surface spins or 180s, you can remove it to give the board a 'looser' feel.
Is this package too advanced for an absolute beginner?
Not at all. The Vault board is still the most beginner-friendly shape in the line. The District boots just provide a more secure, 'locked-in' feel that many riders prefer from the very start. It doesn't make the board harder to ride; it just makes it more responsive.
What is the benefit of the longer fins on the toeside rail?
Most beginners struggle with their 'weak' side (toeside) washing out. Ronix fixed this by adding more surface area to the fins on that side. It gives you the extra grip needed to stay on edge while crossing the wake, making it much easier to learn your first wake-to-wake jumps.
