FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there a performance difference between the Silver Reflective and Midnight Gloss boots?
Nope, the tech is identical. Both use the Mainframe 2.0 skeleton, the Cordura Ballistic Nylon shell, and the Intuition+ liner. The only difference is the aesthetic—the Silver Reflective version is designed for riders who want high visibility and a more modern, 'flashy' look.
How does the One Legacy help with landings compared to the Blackout model?
The One Legacy Core wakeboard is a CNC-machined foam that is designed to dampen the impact. While the One Blackout wakeboard is 'Instant Energy' and feels very rigid, the Legacy is 'Stored Energy,' meaning it has a bit more flex to absorb hard landings and handle choppy water without bouncing you around.
Why is the 3-Stage Rocker so popular on the One series?
It’s all about the 'kick.' Unlike a continuous rocker that glides you out into the flats, the 3-stage shape has a more aggressive 'wall' at the end of the board that sends you vertically. It’s the gold standard for riders who want maximum hangtime to work on spins and grabs.
Do the Silver Reflective boots require heat-molding?
We highly recommend it. They feature the Intuition+ liner, which is designed to be custom-fitted to your foot. This eliminates pressure points and ensures you have zero heel lift, which is vital when you’re charging the wake for a 3-stage vertical pop.
Can I share this wakeboard with my buddies on the boat?
Not really. Because the One is a closed-toe boot with a heat-moldable liner, it’s a personal setup. If your friends ride in them, they’ll pack out the custom-molded foam, and you’ll lose that perfect 'locked-in' feel. For a shareable setup, look at the One Legacy with Anthem BOA package.
How does the widened One Legacy Wakeboard profile change the way it rides?
By widening the board slightly, Ronix created a larger 'sweet spot.' This makes the wakeboard much more stable when you're landing a little off-center and allows it to plane at slower speeds, making it much more approachable for intermediate riders who aren't always riding at pro-level speeds.
