Ronix Vision 120cm with Vision Wakeboard Package 2026 is best for...

Confidence Building: Perfect for the rider who gets frustrated by catching their toeside edge or "sliding out" during turns. The Night Rider: Kids who love the "cool factor"—the board and boots actually glow in the dark, making sunset sessions a blast.

Ideal vs. Wrong Riders

Ronix Vision 120cm with Vision Wakeboard Package 2026

The Ideal Rider

Young boys who are either total beginners or are starting to cross the wake. It's for the rider who needs a stable, easy-to-ride board that is specifically balanced for a smaller frame.

The Wrong Rider

Advanced teen riders who have outgrown the 120cm size and need a more aggressive adult shape (check out the Ronix District 129cm). This is also not a cable park board.

The Wakesports Crew Review

The Vision 120 is arguably the most successful teaching tool in our shop. For a young kid, the board is often too heavy and the physics of a toeside turn are just confusing. Ronix fixed both. This board uses a special glass layup that is way lighter and more flexible than an adult board, so it’s easy for a grom to maneuver.

On the water, the asymmetrical design does the heavy lifting for them. By making the toeside rail shorter and more 'grippy,' it allows a kid with smaller legs to actually hold an edge without the board washing out. You can literally watch a kid's confidence skyrocket the moment they realize they can steer toward the wake without falling. Paired with the Vision boots, it's a lightweight, supportive kids wakeboard package that fits a wide range of growing feet. It’s the ultimate foundation-builder before they graduate to a performance board like the District 129cm Wakeboard.

BOARD Ronix Kid's Vision 120cm Wakeboard

Board Overview

The Ronix Vision Wakeboard is a specialized youth board that acknowledges that kids don't ride like adults. While many brands just change the graphics on a small board, the Vision features a unique 3-stage rocker line that helps young boys generate pop even when the boat is moving at slower speeds. The secret to its success is the stability; with a wider center and specialized bottom channels, the Vision sits securely in the water, reducing the "wobble" that often leads to falls. The rail is designed to be catch-free and forgiving, allowing the rider to focus on their balance rather than worrying about the board. Whether he’s just learning to stand up or is ready to charge the wake for the first time, the Vision provides the perfect foundation for a lifetime of wakeboarding.

Board Tech Specs

3-Stage Rocker: Provides an earlier, more vertical lift to help smaller riders get airtime at lower speeds. Grip & Release Channels: Elongated channels that improve traction and keep the board from feeling "loose." 2 Fiberglass 1.7” Hook Fins: Deep fins that offer maximum stability and help the rider stay straight. Wide Profile: Increased surface area makes deep-water starts easier and landings more stable. Modello Core: A lightweight, durable pour foam that makes the board easy to handle for smaller riders. Thin Profile: Reduces the weight of the board, making it easier to maneuver and pull out of the water.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does the asymmetrical shape help my son learn to ride? +
Most kids struggle with their toeside edge because they don't have the body weight to force the board to grip. The Vision features a shorter, sharper rail on the toeside to 'bite' into the water for them, while the heelside stays smooth and predictable. It’s like having training wheels that actually help you turn.
What is the weight limit for the 120cm Vision wakeboard? +
The Vision 120cm is designed for junior riders up to 80 lbs. If your child is already approaching that weight or is tall for their age, you might want to look at the 129cm District to ensure the board provides enough lift and isn't outgrown in a single season.
Does the Vision wakeboard really glow in the dark? +
Yes! It doesn't affect the performance, but for a kid, it’s a massive 'cool factor' that makes them even more excited to get on the water for those late-afternoon sets.
Can siblings with different foot sizes share the Vision boots? +
Definitely. Because the Vision is an open-toe boot, it’s designed to fit a range of junior sizes (sizes 2–6 and 5-8.5). This makes it a great choice for a youth wakeboard package that can be shared among brothers or friends on the boat.
Is the Vision board too 'beginner' if my kid is already jumping? +
Not at all. While it's built to help you learn, the 3-stage rocker still provides plenty of 'pop' for wake-to-wake jumps. It’s the perfect board for mastering the basics and learning your first 180s. Once he's landing spins and looking for more speed, then he'll be ready for a performance board like the District.
