We watched the groms take this board out, and the "stoke factor" was through the roof the second they saw the Turbo 3000 fin. While the propeller is mostly a fun visual touch for the kids, the actual performance on the water is what impressed us. Because the board is so thin, the smaller riders were able to "dunk" it under their feet for deep-water starts without the board fighting back like a high-volume surfer. Once they were up, the thruster setup kept them tracking straight and feeling secure, which is huge for building confidence before they try to spin. We saw them sticking 360s much faster because the board doesn't feel "stuck" in the water. Plus, the fact that it's built like a Ronix wakeboard means when they accidentally bang it against the swim platform, it doesn't leave a massive ding. It’s a tough, fast, and fun little ripper.

What does the Turbo 3000 "propeller" fin do? +
The Turbo 3000 is a fun, visual feature designed to get kids excited about their gear. While it looks like a propeller, it doesn't provide actual propulsion or change how the board rides—it's all about making the wakesurfer look as fast as it feels.
Why is the Sonic construction better for kids than a standard board? +
Most high-performance boards are fragile, but Ronix built the Sonic using wakeboard-style construction. This makes it significantly more durable and less prone to dings from the boat, docks, or accidental drops.
How does the thin profile help a child learn to surf? +

Yes; it is one of the best "trainers" for 360s. The thruster set up provides stability to build confidence. Take out the two side fins, ride as a single fin, to will allow the board to spin effortlessly once the rider initiates the rotation.
