Wakeboard Package FAQ

Q1: Are all wakeboards and boots compatible with each other?

Yes, all inline wakeboards and boots are compatible, allowing you to mix and match them on our site—though you won't see the same package savings. Compatibility only gets tricky with older gear. All modern boards use a standard 6-inch boot plate and M6 metric hardware. If your gear is from 2010 or earlier, it may use an 8-inch boot plate. If it is from 2013 or earlier, the industry used "Quarter 20" (1/4-20) inch hardware rather than the current M6. We can identify your older models from a photo to ensure a perfect fit. If you have doubts, contact us at 858-277-5757.

Q2: Should I choose Open-Toe or Closed-Toe boots in my package?

Choosing the right boot depends on your needs. Open-Toe boots are ideal for "boat boards" because they fit a range of sizes, making them perfect for families. Closed-Toe boots offer a more precise, high-performance fit for dedicated riders. For a full breakdown, read our Open-Toe vs. Closed-Toe Guide.

Q3: What is the best beginner wakeboard package for 2026?

The Ronix Vault with Divide Boots is the premier choice for first-timers. The Vault's toeside/heelside specific shape and large center fin provide the stability needed to learn how to get up. Check out our blog for more: Best Beginner Wakeboards of 2026.

Q4: How do I size a wakeboard package for multiple people?

Always size the wakeboard for the heaviest rider. A larger board still works for lighter riders, but a board that is too small for a heavier rider will sink and make getting up very difficult. Combine a larger board with Open-Toe boots for the ultimate shared boat setup.

Q5: Do you offer Women's and Kids' specific packages?

Yes! We have dedicated Women's Wakeboard Packages and Kids' Wakeboard Packages. These are designed with lighter cores and specific boot sizes for smaller riders. You can also filter by gender at the top of this page.
