Essential Fit Guide

"IF IT ZIPS, IT FITS"

All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

CURRENT SELECTION Life Jackets (CGA) 8-10% Stretch

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

Pro Tip: Every brand cuts their vests differently. Please review the specific size chart and fit notes above for this model.

Product Overview

Accessible Performance. Imagination Realized.
The 2026 Ronix Daydream is designed for the rider who wants a dependable, no-nonsense life jacket that looks as good as it performs. Utilizing Nature's Neoprene—a limestone-based, eco-friendly alternative—and H₂O Yarn made from recycled plastic bottles, this vest offers a premium, soft-touch feel that far exceeds standard nylon life jackets. The Short & Standard Torso profile ensures the vest stays flat against your core, preventing the "bunching" that occurs when longer vests hit your hips. Whether you are stomping technical rotations on a wakeboard, carving sunset lines while wakesurfing, or navigating high-speed glass on waterskis, the Daydream provides a secure, legal, and distraction-free fit.

The Standard Fit Advantage
To ensure maximum comfort for a wide variety of body types, the Daydream features Standard Fit architecture with more internal volume than the slim-cut Capella series. This anatomical design provides a predictable center of gravity essential for wakefoiling, keeping the vest stable throughout your flight. With Oversized Arm Holes to eliminate friction and a Water Resistant Liner to prevent the vest from becoming heavy when wet, the Daydream is the ultimate tool for all-day lake sessions.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I’m 5’4” and most life jackets are way too long for me—is the Daydream a better fit? +
Yes. The Ronix Daydream CGA life vest is specifically cut for a Short & Standard Torso. It’s meant to sit slightly higher so it doesn't bunch up at your waist when you’re crouching for a wakeboard grab or sitting on the boat. It gives you a much flatter, more comfortable fit if you don't have a super long torso.
Why should I spend $100 on the Daydream instead of $60 on a basic nylon vest? +
It’s all about the "armpit rub." Cheap nylon vests are stiff and abrasive. The Daydream uses Nature's Neoprene (limestone-based), which feels like soft athletic wear. It also has Oversized Arm Holes designed to prevent that painful "vest burn" you get when paddling or carving on a wakesurfer.
Does this vest "float up" to your ears when you fall in? +
Because it’s built with a Standard Fit and more internal volume, it’s easier to get a snug wrap around your core. As long as you follow the size chart (and remember it fits a bit roomier than the pro models), it stays suctioned to your waist rather than floating up to your chin.
Does it get heavy and "soggy" after a few sets? +
No. Even though it's the most affordable in the line, it still features a Water Resistant Liner. This sheds water instead of soaking it up like a sponge, keeping the vest lightweight for wakefoiling and helping it dry out much faster when you’re done for the day.
I wear a Medium t-shirt; do I need to size up to a Large in the Daydream? +
Actually, because this is a Standard Fit with more room inside, you likely won't need to size up. While most CGA vests run tiny, the Daydream is more true-to-size. If you’re between a Medium and a Large, you’ll likely find the Medium is the more secure, high-performance fit.
