FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is the Ronix RXT Blackout so much lighter than other wakeboards?
It uses Ronix's Blackout Construction, the most advanced (and most secret) construction in the industry that strips away every unnecessary ounce from the wakeboard. It uses materials and a density profile that make it significantly lighter and more responsive than the standard Air Core. It results in a wakeboard that has significantly less 'swing weight,' making it much easier to control during flips and spins.
How does the Continuous Rocker on the RXT feel compared to the One?
The One is a 3-stage board built for a vertical 'kick,' while the RXT is a continuous rocker built for smooth and consistent pop. The RXT will feel much faster across the water and will carry that momentum much farther into the flats on landings, making it easier on your knees and your body.
Is the RXT Blackout too fast for an intermediate rider?
It’s very fast, but it’s also very predictable. Because it tracks so well and handles chop so smoothly, many intermediate riders find it actually helps their progression because they don't have to work as hard to clear the wake.
Why would I choose the Ronix RXT boots over the Ronix One boots?
While the One boots focus on being stiff and supportive, which is great for people who like that locked in feel or have some ankle problems. On the flip side, the RXT boots are designed with a high-cut skeleton that allows for more lateral movement. This makes them perfect for riders who love to 'tweak' the wakeboard into different positions for their grabs or want a more natural, fluid feel in their ankles while carving.
Does a continuous rocker provide enough pop for big jumps?
On the RXT, absolutely. While most continuous rockers are 'mellow,' the RXT’s rocker is aggressive. It carries more speed into the wake than a 3-stage board, which converts into massive vertical lift. It’s the best of both worlds—speed and height.
Can I share this setup with my friends on the boat?
Because these are closed-toe boots with heat-moldable Intuition+ liners, they are meant for a single rider. Once the liner is molded to your foot, letting someone else ride in them will pack out the foam and ruin that custom fit. This is a personal performance setup. If you want to share this setup with others, we recommend getting the RXT Wakeboard with the Anthem BOA bindings.
