FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does the Halo boot improve the ride compared to the Luxe Boot?
It’s all about the stiffness. The Halo boot provides significantly more ankle support and better response. This extra rigidity gives you more leverage to tip the board on edge, making your carves more precise and your landings feel more secure as you start jumping higher.
Why is an asymmetrical wakeboard better for beginner women riders?
It accounts for your body’s natural mechanics. Since you have less leverage on your toeside than your heelside, the Krush features a shorter, sharper rail on the toeside to 'bite' into the water for you. This fixes that slippery 'tail-washout' feeling and makes your weak-side turns feel just as strong as your heelside.
Can I share this wakeboard package with friends if the boots are performance-oriented?
Definitely. One of the best things about the Halo boot is that it’s an open-toe design. You get the high-end support and response of a performance boot while still being able to share the setup with anyone on the boat who has a similar foot size.
What is the 'Secret Flex' in the Ronix Krush?
Most boards are built for a heavier male center of gravity. The Krush uses a specific 'Secret Flex' glass layup that allows the board to flex easier for a woman. This makes it much easier to control and generate 'pop' off the wake as it creates a much smoother, more forgiving feel on the water.
When will I be ready to upgrade from the Krush with Halo setup?
This women's wakeboard package is built to take you into intermediate riding. You’ll be ready for the next step up like the Ronix Quarter til Midnight or even the Ronix Rise Wakeboard once you are consistently jumping and clearing both wakes and find yourself wanting a faster, more aggressive board that trades some stability for raw speed.
