Why You’ll Love the Ronix Rise Air Core 3 Women's Wakeboard 2026

The Rise is the "Formula 1" of the women's line. You will love the Air Core 3 construction, which delivers the lowest swing weight in the industry, making 360s and 540s feel effortless. The Hybrid Rocker gives you the best of both worlds: the top-water speed needed to clear the wake with less effort, and an "instant energy" vertical snap that launches you higher than any other women's board on the market.

Ideal vs. Wrong Riders

Ronix Rise Air Core 3 Women's Wakeboard 2026

The Ideal Rider

The intermediate to advanced female rider who wants the absolute best. It’s for someone who is already jumping the wake and wants to level up their technical tricks with the lightest, most explosive board available.

The Wrong Rider

True beginners who still need the training-wheel stability of the Ronix Krush. It’s also not for the rider who wants a "loose/skatey" feel out in the flats—the Quarter 'til Midnight is a better fit for a more relaxed, freeride style.

The Wakesports Crew Review

Taking the Rise out for a session, the first thing you notice is the 'holeshot' response. It reacts the millisecond you initiate a turn. We noticed that because it combines the fast profile of the RXT with the aggressive lift of the One series, it doesn't drag—it glides. For riders like Mary Morgan who are pushing the boundaries of the sport, that reduced swing weight is everything. It allows for quicker rotations and more control mid-air. It’s stiff, reactive, and unapologetically fast, but the deep center channels still offer a secure, 'locked-in' feel on landings.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is the Ronix Rise different from the Quarter 'til Midnight Wakeboard? +
The QTM is a more forgiving, "all-purpose" board for intermediate riders, whereas the Rise is a stiffer, lighter, and more aggressive pro-model designed for maximum vertical pop.
What are the benefits of the Air Core 3 construction? +
Air Core 3 is the lightest foam Ronix produces. It reduces "swing weight," which means the board is much easier to spin and move through the air, causing less fatigue during long sets.
Is the Rise too advanced for an intermediate rider? +
Not at all, if you are already comfortable crossing the wake and want to start learning wake to wake jump or inverts, the Rise is a great tool. However, it is very reactive, so it requires more focus than a board like the Krush.
Why does Mary Morgan Howell endorse this board? +
Mary Morgan needed a board that could handle the high-speed, high-altitude requirements of pro-level competition; she worked with Ronix to ensure the Rise has the fastest glide speed and the most responsive pop.
Can I ride this board at a cable park? +
No, the Rise is a dedicated boat board. The high-performance core and fiberglass fins are not designed for the impact of rails or ramps at a cable park.
