Essential Fit Guide

"IF IT ZIPS, IT FITS"

All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

CURRENT SELECTION Life Jackets (CGA) 8-10% Stretch

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

Pro Tip: Every brand cuts their vests differently. Please review the specific size chart and fit notes above for this model.

Product Overview

UNMATCHED STEALTH FLEXIBILITY
Some products make a statement. The Phantom disappears. Built around our new cylindrical Capella 4.0 platform, this is the thinnest CGA vest we have ever created. More flexibility. More freedom. Less awareness that you’re wearing flotation at all. A ultra thin chest profile that disperses foam around your sides for adding protection on your rib cage. A symphony of bubbles could be poured and cooled with your built in coldy holdy. A marvel of flexible excellence awaits in this new 25% tinner jacket.

CAPELLA 4.0 FIT | L50 SERIES

Our new benchmark for flexibility. This streamlined design delivers a level of mobility previously unseen in a Coast Guard Approved vest. Built around our cylindrical construction, flotation is distributed around the entire torso, prioritizing side protection and buoyancy as much as the chest and back for a more balanced fit and feel. Designed for standard to long torsos. BL50 buoyancy - recommended for confident swimmers only.

COAST GUARD REGULATIONS

Unlike L70 vests that can just be inside of the boat to be considered Coast Guard Approved.

The Coast Guard will only approve these L50 vests while being worn inside of a boat.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.
