"IF IT ZIPS, IT FITS"

All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

CURRENT SELECTION Life Jackets (CGA) 8-10% Stretch

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

Pro Tip: Every brand cuts their vests differently. Please review the specific size chart and fit notes above for this model.

Product Overview

Elegance Meets Authority. Safety Without the Bulk.
The 2026 Ronix Imperial CGA is proof that a life jacket can be a fashion statement. Featuring a stunning Black and Rose Gold aesthetic, this vest utilizes Nature's Neoprene—a limestone-based, eco-friendly material that is softer and more durable than traditional oil-based alternatives. The "magic" of the Imperial lies in the 2-to-1 Foam ratio: the chest contains 2" of flotation to keep you safe and legal, while the waist tapers down to just 1" of foam. This allows you to sit, bend, and twist with the freedom of a competition vest while remaining fully protected. Whether you are carving behind a boat on a wakesurfer, hitting the wake on a wakeboard, or finding your balance on a wakefoil, the Imperial delivers a secure, second-skin fit.

The Capella 3.0 Cylindrical Advantage
To eliminate the "boxy" look of standard life jackets, the Imperial utilizes Cylindrical Construction. This 360-degree wrap-around design mirrors the natural curve of a woman’s torso, ensuring the vest stays suctioned to your core. This anatomical precision provides a predictable center of gravity that is vital for wakefoiling, keeping the vest from shifting or riding up during flight. Finished with a Water Resistant Liner and Silk Skin shell, it’s the ultimate choice for all-day luxury on the water.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I usually wear a $50 nylon life jacket; why is this one $180+? +
It’s all about the materials and the stretch. Standard life jackets use cheap petroleum-based neoprene that is stiff and causes "rash burn." The Imperial uses Nature's Neoprene (limestone-based), which is soft like high-end yoga gear. If you plan on spending more than 30 minutes at a time in the water, the comfort and skin protection are worth the investment.
Will this vest make me look boxy in the midsection? +
Actually, it’s designed to do the opposite. Because of the 2-to-1 Foam design, Ronix thinned the stomach area down to just 1 inch. It gives you a much more tapered, slim silhouette than a traditional life jacket, making it look more like a competition impact vest while still being 100% legal.
Does it "ride up" to my ears when I’m floating? +
That usually happens with flat vests that don't grip your body. Because the Imperial is Cylindrical, it suctions 360 degrees around your ribs. If you get the size right (it should feel very snug when dry), it stays locked in place whether you're floating or taking a high-impact fall on a wakeboard.
How heavy does it feel after it gets wet? +
Much lighter than you’d expect. The Water Resistant Liner is designed to shed water immediately rather than absorbing it. This prevents the "heavy anchor" feeling that usually happens at the end of a long wakesurf set, keeping you more energetic and less fatigued.
Is the "Prism" design going to peel or wear off? +
No. Ronix uses high-grade, durable finishes that are built to withstand UV rays and lake water. It’s an ideal wakefoil vest for riders who want a premium, stealthy look that won't look "thrashed" after a single season of heavy use.
