Why You’ll Love the Ronix Kid's Vault 125cm/130cm Wakeboard 2026

The Kid's Vault Wakeboard takes the frustration out of learning how to get up on a wakeboard and ride. He will love how locked in this board feels and how natural it is when he’s leaning on his toes—the side most kids struggle with the tail washing out on their toeside edge. Because it features a 3-Stage Rocker, it provides that extra "kick" off the wake that helps lighter riders get airborne even at slower boat speeds. It’s a stable, predictable platform that makes clearing the wake feel like second nature.

Ideal vs. Wrong Riders

Ronix Kid's Vault 125cm/130cm Wakeboard 2026

The Ideal Rider

Young groms who are hitting that 80 lb limit on the Vision board or who are just starting out but are already built bigger. It’s for the rider who needs a stable, locked in board that will grow with them for several seasons.

The Wrong Rider

Tiny beginners (under 60 lbs) who should still be on the Vision Wakeboard. It’s also not for advanced teens who are ready for the explosive vertical pop of the District 129cm Wakeboard. This is not a cable park board.

The Wakesports Crew Review

The 125cm Ronix Kid's Vault is the sweet spot for the 'tween' years. We see so many parents try to force their 80-90 lb kid onto a 134cm adult board, and it just slows down their progress because the board is too heavy. The Vault 125/130 solves that. It’s light enough for them to maneuver but has enough surface area to stay stable as they grow. The vault helps fix that common 'body-line' issue where kids stand too tall on their toeside edge. It’s the smartest investment for a growing rider.

Product Overview

The Ronix Kid's Vault is the solution to the "toeside struggle." Most wakeboards are symmetrical, but the human body isn't—we are much more efficient on our heels than our toes. The Vault compensates for this with an asymmetrical shape that shortens the toeside rail, making it significantly easier for kids to initiate turns and build the confidence to cross the wake. By stepping up to the 125cm or 130cm model, your rider gets a board that can handle more speed and more weight than a dedicated youth board like the Vision. This is a board built to last through growth spurts, offering a consistent 3-stage rocker that delivers easy airtime and a rock-solid foundation for every trick in the book.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

My kid is right at 80 lbs, should I get the Vision or the Vault Wakeboard? +
Get the Vault 125. He will have more room to grow, and the board’s surface area will provide better stability as he gets taller and stronger throughout the summer.
What does "Asymmetrical" actually mean for his riding? +
It means the toeside rail is shaped differently to help him stay on edge. It corrects the natural tendency to stand too upright on that side, making his heelside and toeside turns feel equally balanced.
Is the Vault board stable enough for a first-timer? +
Absolutely! The Kid's Vault is widely considered the easiest board to learn on because of its wide profile and deep fins that act like "training wheels" in the water.
Will this board help him clear the wake? +
Yes, the 3-stage rocker is designed to "buck" the rider up, helping smaller kids get the height they need to clear the wake even at lower speeds. However, if he is growing and progressing quickly, we would recommend stepping up to the Ronix District 129cm Wakeboard.
Can my kid take this to a cable park? +
No, the Vault is a boat-specific board. The base and fins are not designed for rails or ramps, and using it at a park will damage the board and void the warranty.
