FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What makes the Rise board different from the Quarter 'Til Midnight?
While both are high-performance, the Rise is significantly lighter and more 'active.' It uses Air Core 3 construction (the lightest core Ronix makes) and has a more aggressive 'Instant Energy' rating. The QTM is a versatile 'Swiss Army Knife,' but the Rise is a dedicated performance machine built for maximum speed and pop.
How does the Hybrid Rocker on the Rise feel when jumping?
It gives you the best of both worlds. It has the speed and glide of a continuous rocker so you don't feel like you’re dragging through the water, but it blends in a 3-stage 'kick' right at the tip and tail. This results in a vertical, explosive pop that’s much more powerful than a standard beginner board.
Is the Halo boot better than the Luxe for an advanced rider?
Definitely. The Halo is a 5/10 flex (stiffer than the Luxe) and features a higher-grade Stage 2 foam. The Halo Wakeboard Boots give you way more ankle support and leverage for big airs and hard carves.
Can I share this package with my friends on the boat?
Yes! Even though the Rise is a pro-level board, the Halo boots are an open-toe design. This means you get elite performance that can still accommodate a range of foot sizes, making it the perfect choice for a boat where multiple riders want to use the best gear available.
Is the Rise board too 'fast' for an intermediate rider?
It’s fast, but it’s not out of control. The deep channels help the board track straight and stay stable, so it doesn't feel slippery. It’s actually very predictable, which builds confidence. It just happens to move through the water with less effort, meaning you can ride longer sets without your legs getting tired.
