All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

A new Coast Guard Approved jacket that is 25% thinner than anything we have previously developed. And yes, your beverage gets its own launch pad with a built-in Cold Holdy.

CAPELLA 4.0 FIT | L50 SERIES

Our new benchmark for flexibility. This streamlined design delivers a level of mobility previously unseen in a Coast Guard Approved vest. Built around our cylindrical construction, flotation is distributed around the entire torso, prioritizing side protection and buoyancy as much as the chest and back for a more balanced fit and feel. Designed for standard to long torsos. BL50 buoyancy - recommended for confident swimmers only.

COAST GUARD REGULATIONS

Unlike L70 vests that can just be inside of the boat to be considered Coast Guard Approved.

The Coast Guard will only approve these L50 vests while being worn inside of a boat.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.
