Essential Fit Guide

"IF IT ZIPS, IT FITS"

All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

CURRENT SELECTION Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

Life Jackets (CGA) 8-10% Stretch

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

Pro Tip: Follow cuts their vests with precision. Please check the description for specific Relaxed or Tapered fit profiles.

Product Overview

Pro Performance. Toned-Down Aesthetics.
The 2026 Follow Total Mens in Dark Grey is the "sleeper" of the lineup. While it looks like a clean, classic neutral, it is packed with the same high-end features ridden by Joe Battleday. The Chevron Polyester shell provides an industrial-strength defense against abrasion, while the Dual Layer Construction ensures the vest doesn't hold water and "balloon" during high-speed sets. It’s a technical wake vest that appeals to a mass audience because it balances pro-tier protection with a sophisticated, matte-grey finish.

The Relaxed Fit Advantage
The Relaxed Fit in the Total series is about providing an elite experience for every body type. By utilizing a universal waist and standard chest-to-armhole scaling, it fits true to your premium T-shirt size. The key to its performance is the TrueFit™ Liner, which creates a natural bond between the Featherweight Foam and the neoprene. This prevents the vest from riding up or shifting during technical wakefoil pumps or deep-water wakesurf starts.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why is this called the "Total" instead of the "Employee of the Month" now? +
The Total series is the refined evolution of that classic vest. We took the "Employee"’s rugged dependability and added the TrueFit™ Liner and Chevron Polyester to make it a more technical wake vest. It’s the "Total" package—pro features in a more approachable, everyday aesthetic.
How does the Dark Grey finish handle UV exposure on the tower? +
Dark Grey is one of our most resilient colors. Unlike black, which can eventually "ash" out into a purple hue, the Chevron Polyester weave in Dark Grey is treated with high-grade UV stabilizers to ensure the matte finish stays sharp even after a summer of being left on the boat tower.
Is the Total Vest actually worth the extra cost over a Corp vest? +
If you value a vest that doesn't "stretch out" over time, yes. In a standard wakesurf vest, the foam is loose inside the neoprene. In the Total series, the TrueFit™ Liner bonds them together, so the vest keeps its factory-new fit for twice as long as a mid-tier vest.
Can I use this impact vest for cable park riding? +
It’s actually our top recommendation for the cable. The Chevron Polyester shell is much more "rip-proof" than standard smooth neoprene, meaning it can handle the occasional brush against a rail or kicker without tearing your gear.
