Essential Fit Guide

"IF IT ZIPS, IT FITS"

All vests must fit snug like a compression shirt. Neoprene is designed to expand when wet for a custom "wet-fit."

CURRENT SELECTION Impact Vests (NCGA) 10-15% Stretch

Will contour significantly after a few sessions.

Life Jackets (CGA) 8-10% Stretch

Less expansion due to thicker foam.

The Golden Rule:
If your vest zips up effortlessly on land, it is likely too big. A loose vest will ride up past your ears once you hit the water.

Pro Tip: Follow cuts their vests with precision. Please check the description for specific Relaxed or Tapered fit profiles.

Product Overview

Industrial Elegance. Pro-Tier Versatility.
The 2026 Follow Global Mens in Alloy is a style you’ll notice and a feeling you won’t forget. Built with Dual-S™ Neoprene, this vest feels significantly more comfortable in the water than standard polyester alternatives, offering a supple, "second-skin" feel. The flawless outer finish and inner zipper-flap branding provide a premium, minimalist aesthetic without compromising on technical durability. Whether you’re leaning into a high-speed waterski turn, launching a massive wakeboard jump, or finding your flow while wakesurfing, the Global delivers a weightless, high-performance experience.

The Global Tapered Fit Advantage
To meet the stability demands of wakefoiling and wakesurfing with the agility of wakeboarding and waterskiing, the Global utilizes Follow's signature Tapered Fit. This architecture provides a strong, firm chest wrap that tapers toward the waist, ensuring a secure body-hug without feeling confined around the stomach. Supported by the TrueFit™ Liner, the Global stays perfectly in place during deep-water starts and high-impact falls, providing a secure, predictable center of gravity across all towed water sports.

CGA vs Impact Vest — What is the difference?

Note: Some impact vests, like the Ronix Vader, look like a CGA vest with 3 points of contact (zipper + buckles) but are in fact Impact Vests. Always verify the safety rating before purchasing.

FAQ'S: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will the Alloy colorway show dirt or lake stains? +
Alloy is one of our most practical colors. The metallic grey tone is excellent at hiding dried lake sediment and salt spots that usually stand out on darker vests. It’s a low-maintenance wakesurf vest that maintains a "fresh from the box" look even after a full season of heavy use.
How does the "Tapered Fit" handle the high-speed spray of waterskiing? +
At high waterski speeds, a loose vest acts like a parachute. The Global’s Tapered Fit creates a streamlined 360-degree wrap that won't catch the spray. It stays locked below the ribs, ensuring you stay fast and focused on your edge during aggressive carves.
Why is Dual-S™ Neoprene better for wakesurfing? +
Wakesurfing requires a vest that is low-profile and high-stretch. Dual-S™ Neoprene is more comfortable and flexible than standard materials, allowing the vest to hinge perfectly with your core during deep bottom turns. It’s the ultimate choice for a wakesurf vest that won't bunch up at the stomach.
Is the Global stable enough for high-speed wakefoiling? +
Yes. The TrueFit™ Liner is the secret weapon here. By bonding the internal foam to the outer neoprene, we eliminate the "sloshing" effect. When you are making micro-adjustments on a wakefoil, your vest remains a stable, predictable part of your core, helping you maintain flight longer.
