1. What is a Cruiser Skateboard?

2. Is it easier to ride a cruiser or longboard?

A cruiser skateboard is much easier to navigate and ride in tighter spaces, such as when weaving through crowds or going across a small sidewalk space. This is an easy type of board to learn on, especially when compared to traditional skateboards.

On the other hand, the extended length of a longboard makes them overall more stable, which can prove a big boon to those individuals who have otherwise never been on a skateboard they needed to balance on. Longboards are great for when you are long-distance cruising, and especially when you're riding downhill when you want something that provides optimum stability at higher speeds.

3. Can cruiser boards go fast?

Cruiser skateboards are designed primarily for crushing and community and not for high-speed racing. That said, an experienced rider can get their cruiser skateboard to speeds as high as 25 miles per hour, with steady speeds of around 15 miles per hour. For beginners to cruise skateboards, standard cruising speeds will typically be around 5 to 15 miles per hour.
