The Phase Five MVP Wakesurfer, designed in collaboration with pro rider John Akerman, is crafted for riders pushing the limits of skim-style performance. For 2025, the MVP features a redesigned full ⅝” core—providing tighter control and responsiveness—along with the removal of rail channels from previous versions to enhance board feel.

This board stands out with its full Techno Traction V2 EVA grip deck, including nose and tail kick pads for unmatched foot control, especially while riding revert. John’s signature nose kick tail design offers extra leverage during tricks, helping riders stay locked in while spinning, shuv-ing, or airing out. The moon tail shape and V-Spline bottom contours work together to deliver lightning-fast speed and razor-sharp handling on the wave.

Constructed with Hybrid Carbon™ material and outfitted with a single 1” Skim Fin, the MVP is made to take a beating while performing at the highest level.
