There are a few different types of water skiers out there: Beginners, Open Water, Course, and Trick Skiers.
Which one are YOU?
If it Zips, it Fits! Life vests are now meant to fit very snug and sometime difficult to zip up when brand new. It will loosen up.
Coast Guard Approved (CGA): Main purpose to keep your head above water and float you. Use a CGA Vest for Jet Skiing.
Impact Vests (NCGA): More flexibility and comfortable but will not keep your head above water. Allowed while doing watersports (not jet skis) as long as there is a CGA vest on the boat for that person. Check local laws to comfirm.
